Birmingham Zoo 5k

I ran my first 5k this past weekend. My friend Sharon called me 10 weeks ago and said she was going to do it and I should to do it to. I said ok. I am not sure why I had no interest in running. We did one of those programs where you start out walking and running until you gradually work up to running the 3.1 miles.. Here is a picture of Leslie, me, Sharon & Krystal before the race.
Anyway, I had a blast and Leslie and I have already signed up for a few more races.

Alabama Adventure

We went to Alabama Adventure for the first time this season. Finn was so excited to ride rides. He has already asked to go back this week. Hopefully it will be pretty Sunday and we head back over that way.
